Do I have to pay to be a partner?
No. The partner program and the teacher dashboard are free.
How much do I earn per student?
50% of each annual plan sale made through your link, after card processing fees. On a $59 sale that’s $28.49. It also applies when the student buys later through one of our follow-up offers.
When and how do I get paid?
Once a month, by PayPal, Venmo or Zelle, for sales that are past their 7-day refund window. If a sale is refunded, its commission is canceled.
What if the student buys days later, on a promotion?
You still earn. Anyone who joined through your link stays linked to you, and any offer Afina.ai sends them later is credited to you. The commission is the same: 50% of the sale.
What if the student buys without using my link?
Sales are credited to you when the student joined through your link or typed your code in the app. That’s why you should always share the link from your dashboard.
Are the example numbers guaranteed?
No. They’re illustrations to show the math. How much you earn depends on how many students buy through your link.
Do I need a business or tax form?
No business required. If you earn $600 or more in a calendar year, we may ask for a W-9 so we can issue a 1099 form, as US tax rules require.
Can my students see my earnings?
No. Students only see your name on the page. Sales and commissions appear only on your dashboard.
